Initiatives for the Kids
In the hope that children will develop the habit of wearing helmets while riding bicycles or motorcycles, Honda Vietnam donates helmets to children
We hope that children wearing helmets correctly will have a positive impact on adults, and that this will spread throughout society, contributing to the reduction of traffic fatalities in the future.
In 2008, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the National Traffic Safety Commission (NTSC) asked us to be the main lecturer for a national project called "Traffic Safety for Children’s Smiles."With the cooperation of project stakeholders and Honda Vietnam members, we produced materials on the educational content and teaching methods for children. Subsequently, we held mock classes for teachers at schools nationwide for children, which were well received and were eventually adopted as teaching materials which are still being used today.
On Honda’s 2050 Goal of Zero Traffic Accident Fatalities Involving Honda Motorcycles and Automobiles
Together with our members, we are improving our training activities and even adopting new ideas and methods to increase the number of customers who receive training in traffic safety knowledge and safety riding techniques.
In particular, we will focus on traffic safety education for children, who are the future leaders of our society, and at the same time, we will contribute to the early reduction of traffic fatalities by providing effective training for adult riders and drivers.
