The legend of the Ayrton Senna, the “Prince of the Speed of Sound,” is being dramatized for the first time, depicting the yet untold stories of the three-time F1 world champion.

For the first time, the life of Ayrton Senna, three-time F1 world champion, known in Japan as the “Prince of the Speed of Sound,” is being dramatized.

The drama series “Senna” not only looks back on Senna’s illustrious career, but also delves into his personality, his struggles, and his relationships with family, friends, and lovers, revealing the true nature of the man loved by all around him.

Born in 1960 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Senna was highly athletic from an early age and was interested in cars and motorsports. The series depicts the unknown side of Senna, who continued to challenge himself toward success and remains a world hero with his dominating speed and technique, and whose name is still engraved in history 30 years after his passing. “Senna,” a true to life, six-part mini series, was produced with the cooperation of Senna’s relatives, including filming at his parents’ home.

“Senna” conveys the production team’s efforts to depict the life of the legend sincerely.
