Production in Japan for the month of October 2018 experienced a year-on-year increase for the fourth consecutive month (since July 2018).
Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in three months (since July 2018), setting record high production for the month of October. This includes record high production for the month of October in Asia and China.
Worldwide production experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in three months (since July 2018), also setting record high production for the month of October.

Total domestic automobile sales in the Japanese market for the month of October 2018 experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in two months (since August 2018).
New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in four months (since June 2018).
Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year increase for the first time in two months (since August 2018), also setting record high sales for the month of October.

FREED was the industry’s seventh best-selling car among new vehicle registrations for the month of October 2018 with sales of 6,751 units. Fit was the industry’s ninth best-selling car with sales of 6,534.
＜Mini-vehicles - under 660cc＞
N-BOX was the industry’s top-selling car in the mini-vehicle category for the month of October 2018 with sales of 20,513 units.
