We had moto-journalist Tsutomu Matsui bring his wife and young son along to help us examine how easily centerstands can be operated by a petite woman and an 11-year old boy, neither of whom can ride motorcycles.

The centerstand is an important feature on any motorcycle. We examine the ease with which a centerstand can be used by a woman and a child who have never ridden motorcycles before.
Tests were conducted with a woman, who stands 155cm tall and weighs only 48kg, and an 11-year old boy, who is 158cm tall and weighs 50kg. Although they've both ridden on the back of motorcycles before, neither has actually ever ridden a motorcycle on their own, nor do they have driver's licenses. Of course, they have never used a motorcycle's centerstand either. So, what were the results of this experiment?
