The Solution System Development Center will provide professionals with the solutions for the technologies of electrification and intelligence, in addition to the work machines’ technologies nurtured to date, toward the realization of a society that can maximize people’s abilities, which will lead to improving the quality of their works.
Honda Autonomous Work Vehicle
The Honda Autonomous Work Vehicles realize the transport of materials by autonomous mobility that can coexist with the workers in harsh construction environments, which reduces the burden on the workers at the construction sites. We also provide autonomous driving solutions combined with the services to bring new value to our customers.

Operation Platform (OPPF)
The Operation Platform is the platform technology that is the core in utilizing the data of Honda products that are useful and familiar in people’s daily lives. Connecting not only Honda products but also other companies’ products and/or data will bring new value and update the quality of people’s jobs and lives.

Autonomous Delivery Robot
We conduct the field testing of the autonomous delivery robots in the environments, where people and bicycles are moving around, to develop the technologies so that the robots can move safely. Moreover, we establish the safety standards and guidelines through the participation in the “Robot Delivery Association,” and we aim to build a foundation for robot delivery services and enable the use of the robots in the social implementation at an earlier stage.

Small Electric Propulsion Machine
Under the philosophy that “Moving across the surface without dirtying the water underneath,” we strive to electrify the power units being used to move on the water. In addition to the outboard motors that can be mounted on the rear walls of the ships, we will develop various types of electric power units and promote the expansion of carbon-neutral and quiet propulsion machines.
Mobility in Daily Lives
The changes in lifestyles due to the pandemic have also affected the mobility of people, and new means of transportation are expected not only in rural areas but in urban areas. With the demand for the mobility systems that anyone can easily use, we aim to realize safe, secure, convenient, and carbon-neutral mobility systems that support daily movements and meet a variety of needs.
