Japan International Boat Show 2026
The World of Honda: Connecting Land, Sea, and Air through Technology

The 65th Japan International Boat Show 2026 was held over four days from March 19 to 22 at Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama. At this event, Honda showcased not only its marine products but also an automobile, motorcycles, and a scale model of HondaJet, expressing the breadth of its technologies and brand across land, sea, and air.

At the annual Japan International Boat Show in Yokohama, Honda exhibited this year under a new concept: “The Power For Your Adventure – The World of Honda: Connecting Land, Sea, and Air through Technology.”

The booth featured nearly the full lineup of Honda outboard motors available in Japan. In addition, Honda displayed the Prelude, along with the motorcycles Rebel 250 S Edition E-Clutch and CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES Dual Clutch Transmission.

A 1/10 scale model of the HondaJet Elite II and a full-size mock-up of the HF120 turbofan engine were also exhibited.

These displays were designed to give visitors a tangible sense of Honda’s technological capabilities and brand expansion across the mobility domains of land, sea, and air. The booth design, based on a black-themed, premium aesthetic, expressed the shared technological foundation across Honda’s outboard motors, automobiles, motorcycles, and jet.

In the Sea zone, Honda showcased its flagship outboard motor BF350 in the newly introduced Sporty White color for the first time in Japan. A cutaway model was also displayed, illustrating the layout of its V8 5.0-liter engine.

In the Land zone, alongside the Prelude, Honda displayed the Rebel and CRF1100L Africa Twin. These models, including the Prelude which delivers the joy of driving, and the Rebel 250 S Edition and CRF1100L Africa Twin equipped with electronic control technologies that eliminate the need for clutch and shift operation, were presented as models through which visitors could experience Honda’s advanced technologies.

In the Air zone, in addition to the HondaJet scale model, a full-size mock-up of the HF120 turbofan engine was exhibited, further expressing the breadth of Honda’s technological domains.

Over the four-day event, which attracted more than 40,000 visitors, Honda provided an opportunity for many attendees to experience the technological capabilities and brand expansion it has cultivated across a wide range of mobility fields, including outboard motors, motorcycles, automobiles, power products, and aircraft.

Visitors shared impressions such as:
“I came to the booth because I was interested in the Prelude. I was surprised to learn that VTEC, which I thought was an automobile technology, is also used in outboard motors. It really shows how far Honda’s technologies extend.”
Many attendees left with a renewed appreciation for Honda’s technologies spanning land, sea, and air.
