In its second year of full factory participation,
Honda made a splash with livery that embodied the Earth Dream Project,
based on the theme of environmental issues,
without prominently displaying sponsors’ logos.
Results were disappointing, partly due to the departure
of Jeff Willis from the team the previous year.
Super Aguri, in its second year of F1 racing,
was successful despite its small scale operations.
