Honda acquired all remaining shares of BAR,
and renamed the team “Lucky Strike Honda Racing F1 Team.”
The car was renamed the “Honda RA106” restoring the “RA” designation,
making the team an all-Honda operation.
Honda also started supplying engines to Super Aguri,
led by Aguri Suzuki. In Round 13, Hungary,
Honda achieved its long-awaited first victory in its third F1 era.
