BAR welcomed new team principal David Richards
and technical director Jeff Willis,
and Honda also made major changes to its team structure,
with Shuhei Nakamoto taking over the engine department
and Ken Hashimoto handling chassis technical development.
Takuma Sato made his F1 debut with Jordan,
finishing an impressive 5th in the Japanese GP.
