High-Tech Era Arrives, V12 Redesigned to Accomodate

Active suspension revolutionized the F1 world,
and Honda was heavily involved in the joint development of chassis technology.
Its new V12 engine, the RA122E/B,
was developed to improve performance and complement to the chassis,
but failed to win consecutive titles.
Honda once again suspended its F1 activities at the end of the year.
