Honda was awarded “Contribution Award” and received “Letter of Appreciation” from the Gas Turbine Society of Japan

On November 8th, Yoshihiko Wajima, Fellow of Innovative Research Excellence Power Unit & Energy, Honda R&D Co., Ltd., was awarded the "Contribution Award” at the 50th anniversary commemoration of the Gas Turbine Society of Japan. In addition, Innovation Research Excellence Power Unit & Energy received the “Letter of Appreciation” for being a longtime supporting member.

These were to gratitude Honda’s contribution in supporting and collaborating for the advancement of the gas turbine technology and the management of the conference.

“I am honored to be awarded the Contribution Award and to have received the Letter of Appreciation. Since 1986, we have been striving to develop the world’s top-class aero engine. Honda developed the HF118 engine, then later HF120 was successfully introduced through a collaboration between General Electric Company and Honda. We will continue to make efforts in the further advancement of gas turbine technology”.
