January 22, 2016 - Honda marked a historic occasion, commencing the delivery of the HondaJet in the Southwest, at the “HondaJet's entry into service celebration” event held at Cutter Aviation, a HondaJet dealer in Phoenix, Arizona, attended by Honda Motor Co. President & CEO Takahiro Hachigo, and Honda Aircraft Company President & CEO Michimasa Fujino.

In preparation for the celebration event, Takahiro Hachigo landed, for the first time since becoming Honda's President & CEO, by HondaJet in Phoenix, Arizona.

The ceremony took place at its fixed-base operation at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Honda Aircraft Company President & CEO Michimasa Fujino introduced the HondaJet to approximately 130 executives, customers, potential buyers, elected officials and dealers attending the celebration.

Each HondaJet dealers was presented a gift from Honda Motor Co. President & CEO Takahiro Hachigo, thanking them for being one of the initial customers to purchase Honda’s innovative aircraft.
