  • Road Race World Grand Prix:
    Repsol Honda, Team HRC and Castrol Honda will compete in the Road Race Grand Prix 500cc & 250cc classes and Superbike Series with seven successful riders, including two Japanese riders.
  • Trial World Championship
    Takahisa Fujinami will participate in the series with Team HRC.

    Seven distinguished riders will participate in the 500cc and 250cc classes of the World Grand Prix Series. Teams are still to be announced.
  • Motocross World Championship Series:
    TEAM Honda Racing and RWJ Honda will participate in the 250cc class.
  • Trial World Championship Series:
    In the trial championships, Montesa Honda S.A. will nominate two riders as its factory riders.

Japanese championship series factory teams

  • Japanese Road Race Championship Series
    Two riders from Lucky Strike Honda will participate in Superbike and one from Castrol Honda in 250cc-class road racing.
  • Japanese Motocross Championship Series
    TEAM HRC will enter the three riders in the 250cc class.
  • Japanese Trial Championship Series
    Takahisa Fujinami from HRC Club Fujinami will be the only Honda representative in the championship.

American Honda factory teams

  • AMA Road Race Series
    Team Honda will simultaneously compete in both Superbike and SS600 classes. Two riders will make a double entry into the classes.
  • AMA Motocross Series
    Team Honda organization has been upgraded, resulting in four rider entries to the 250cc Supercross and 250cc National Motocross championships.

American Honda satellite teams

FMF Team Honda will compete in 125cc Supercross and 125cc National Motocross events with four riders.
