TOKYO, Japan, October 5, 2026 – Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today announced plans to exhibit at the Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2026 to be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan from October 13 to 16, 2026.
The Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2026 will be held as an event intended to promote business co-creation between mobility-related companies and the startups shaping the future of the industry.
The Honda booth will showcase the Honda DIVE, a virtual ride-sharing experience utilizing VR (virtual reality) technology, as part of a Honda initiative to augment the possibilities of mobility. The Honda DIVE enables family members and friends in different locations, as well as people who face mobility limitations for physical or other reasons, to enjoy a virtual experience that creates the feeling of traveling together. Through such experiences, Honda presents new possibilities for ensuring the joy and freedom of mobility and creating new connections among people.
At the joint exhibition area organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), Honda will exhibit the Honda Charge and the Honda V2H Stand as an essential charging infrastructure for the use of EVs. Honda will also exhibit technologies related to the Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (DWPT), a technology for wirelessly charging EVs while they are in motion, as one of the future charging infrastructure technologies. Moreover, Honda will introduce its technologies related to resource circulation as part of the company’s initiatives to address societal challenges associated with resource utilization.
Furthermore, Honda R&D Co., Ltd., the R&D subsidiary of Honda, will exhibit at the CEATEC 2026, a comprehensive exhibition of digital innovation, which will be held concurrently at the same venue.

Honda DIVE
The Honda DIVE is a virtual ride-sharing experience service that utilizes VR technology to connect people inside and outside a vehicle, offering the fun of driving together even when physically apart. People in different locations can virtually experience the vehicle’s cabin and the view through the windows from a 360-degree perspective through VR headsets. While sharing conversations and music, people inside and outside the vehicle can enjoy an immersive experience that makes them feel as if they are actually riding together in the same vehicle. Through Honda DIVE technology, Honda will explore new joys of mobility which will become possible by enabling mobility experiences that transcend the constraints of time and space.

Honda Charge/Honda V2H Stand:
For the popularization of EVs, it is important not only to build charging infrastructure that people can use with complete peace of mind, but also to reduce the stress associated with the hassle and inconvenience of charging. By offering the Honda Charge, a charging network service, primarily at Honda Cars dealerships and other commercial facilities across Japan, Honda will expand the network of charging infrastructure that is easy, convenient, and user-friendly, preparing for the widespread use of EVs. Honda will exhibit the actual fast-charging unit for the Honda Charge service in the JAMA joint exhibition area.
Honda will also showcase the Honda V2H Stand, a bidirectional V2H (vehicle-to-home) charging device, that enables electricity stored in an EV battery to be supplied to a home. In addition to serving as a backup power source, the Honda V2H Stand can supply electricity to the home as needed, such as during peak hours for the use of household appliances. Honda will further enhance the convenience of people’s daily lives by enabling EVs to be utilized not only as a means of transportation, but as a household energy resource.
Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (DWPT) technology:
Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (DWPT) is a system that wirelessly transfers electricity to a receiver unit on a vehicle through the magnetic field generated by a transmitter unit embedded in the road. This enables EVs to be charged while they are in motion, contributing to an increase in range and the convenience of EVs. Through a series of demonstration tests which will take place in the year ahead, Honda will continue to verify its DWPT-related technologies toward practical application and work to establish technologies that further enhance the convenience of EVs.
Resource circulation technology:
Honda will also introduce its initiatives toward addressing societal challenges associated with resource utilization, offering the joy and freedom of mobility sustainably through its mobility products and services.
Items on display include:
- Motorcycle components applications of recycled polypropylene (PP) material from ELV bumpers
- Unpainted motorcycle exterior/body panels made of bio-based plastics
