Yuka Saso
A serious golfer since age eight, Yuka Saso shined in world junior tournaments. In 2019 she passed the JLPGA pro test, and in 2020 she won her first JLPGA tour victory in the NEC Karuizawa 72 Golf Tournament. In 2021, she was the youngest ever to win the US Women’s Open. She has competed mainly in the LPGA in the US since 2022, winning her second US Women’s Open in 2024, her third year on the LPGA. She is the youngest golfer ever to win the US Women’s Open multiple times and the first Japanese golfer to win multiple major tournaments overseas. She will continue to take on the challenges of golf on the global stage, leveraging her world-leading drive distance.
As she competes in the US, Ms. Saso, who loves cars, drives a Pilot from American Honda Motor Company. She says she often drives herself. Lately she's been fond of the ZR-V.
