Shingo Kunieda
In 2007, Shingo Kunieda won the world's first wheelchair tennis grand slam. He won the men's singles gold medal in the Beijing, London, and Tokyo Paralympics. He has won a total of 32 championships in grand slam singles divisions over the years, while also recording 107 consecutive singles wins. These and other achievements make him the leader in professional wheelchair tennis.
In recent years, Mr. Kunieda also has worked in development of hand and foot driving assist systems. He can be expected to continue to support Honda's never-ending challenging spirit.
