Chisato Iwai
Chisato Iwai passed the JLPGA pro test together with her twin sister Akie in 2021. In 2022, she was the third golfer in history to win in two consecutive weeks after her first win. In 2023 she won the RKB Mitsui Matsushima Ladies and the Ai Miyazato Suntory Ladies Open Golf Tournament, and in 2024, she won three victories at the Daikin Orchid Ladies, the RKB Mitsui Matsushima Ladies, and the Hisako Higuchi Mitsubishi Electric Ladies Golf Tournament. In 2025, she achieved a consecutive win at the Daikin Orchid Ladies for the second year. In the same year, she participated in the LPGA Tour together with her sister Akie and achieved her first victory in her rookie year at the Mexico Riviera Maya Open. She has a total of 8 wins on the JLPGA Tour and 1 win on the LPGA Tour.
Chisato Iwai and her sister Akie take turns traveling to tournaments in a STEP WGN and a ZR-V. She says that when she drives she enjoys the ZR-V's brisk ride and exterior.
