Ai Miyazato
A competitive golfer since the age of four, Ai Miyazato attended Tohoku High School. After winning the Miyagi TV Cup Dunlop Ladies Open as an amateur in 2003, she went pro. As a regular member of the women's golf tour beginning in 2004, she recorded five wins and then six in 2006. She began competing in the United States in 2006 and recorded her first win on the US tour in 2009. She was ranked first in the world in 2010 and retired in 2017.
Today, she focuses on developing junior golfers, chiefly through her Ai Miyazato International tournament.
Since her pro days, Ms. Miyazato has driven a number of Honda vehicles, including a CR-V. Today she drives a ZR-V. She says she loves its comfortable ride and ease of driving.
