April 25, 2017 - Jialing-Honda Motors Co., Ltd., Honda’s power products production and sales joint venture in China, announced that cumulative sales of power products in China has reached 10 million units in April 2017.

Honda’s power product business in China started with the establishment of Honda Mindong Generator Co., Ltd. in Fuzhou in 1994. In 2005, Jialing-Honda shifted its business focus to power products, and in January 2017, Jialing-Honda and Honda Mindong merged to form the present-day Jialing-Honda Motors Co., Ltd. Jialing-Honda is an important global production and supply base with a rich lineup that includes general-purpose gasoline engines, lawnmowers, water pumps, tillers, brush cutters, and outboard engines.

Cumulative sales of power products went beyond five million units in 2013, and reached 10 million units just four years later.

330 dealers, and 75 service centers have been established in China to form a highly efficient sales and service system that has a rich lineup which includes general-purpose gasoline engines, lawnmowers, water pumps, tillers, brush cutters, and outboard engines.

The power products that Jialing-Honda produces are not just for China’s domestic market, but are also currently being exported to more than 100 countries and regions, such as the United States, Japan, and countries in Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa.
