October 16, 2013 - ASIMO is to debut on Norwegian TV later this month with an appearance on the country’s popular science game show, ‘Brille.’ It follows ASIMO’s appearance on Qi, the British quiz show hosted by Stephen Fry, in 2011.

ASIMO was invited to appear on the show alongside Norway’s top comedians, as an example of cutting-edge humanoid robotics technology. ASIMO joins the panel on stage, waving to the audience and shaking hands with one of the panel members. ASIMO is a center point of discussion during the episode and helps game show host, Herald Eia, decipher which answers given by the comics regarding robotics are correct or not. ASIMO ends the appearance by displaying advanced movement capabilities, using arms to make shapes, running and dancing.
The program, which was pre-recorded in Oslo earlier this month, will air on the 21st October on TVNorge. The episode is estimated to attract over 300,000 viewers.
