October 23, 2013 - From Oct 23rd, 2013 to Oct 27th 2013, Honda Vietnam (HVN) takes part in Vietnam Motor Show 2013, organized at Sai Gon Exhibition & Convention Center, Ho Chi Minh City.

Especially, at this year's exhibition, Urban SUV concept car with global dynamic design and totally new luxurious car Honda Accord will also first time be presented to Vietnamese consumers. Officially introduced in Vietnam in March, 2013, the 4th generation CR-V was welcomed by customers thanks to the luxurious design, efficient operation and high safety level for the users.

The 4th generation CR-V has a stronger and more dynamic exterior design thanks to young sculpting of the body lines, creating an elegant & dynamic appearance.

More luxurious, more sophisticated, better performing and better equipped than any other models in the Accord’s 37-year history, the all-new Accord provides drivers with full confidence in driving. This is also the first Accord model powered by Honda’s breakthrough Earth Dreams technology-based engine, offering the best balance of outstanding performance and fuel efficiency.

The all-new Honda Accord has an unrivalled elegant design that reflects customers’ tastes and fulfills their desire for the ideal of luxury with the highest levels of riding comfort, style and technical sophistication. In addition, the Smart Entry system allows the driver to walk up to the vehicle, touch the door handle to unlock the door, start the engine and shut it off at the end of the trip using a push button ignition switch, and then get out and touch the lock button on the door handle to secure the car – all without ever touching a key. The system only requires that the driver has possession of the Smart Entry key. The new Honda Accord is equipped with Honda’s new and smart Earth Dreams technology, a next-generation set of technological advancements that enhance the engine to greatly improve both driving performance and fuel efficiency.

The available 3.5-liter V-6 engine now delivers 278 horsepower at 6200 rpm (an increase of five horsepower). On V-6 models with an automatic transmission, the engine also features a new generation of Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) variable displacement technology and a special SOHC i-VTEC valvetrain. Depending on driving conditions, the engine operates on three or all six cylinders to help boost fuel efficiency or power as needed. The V-6 engine can be paired with a smooth-shifting 6-speed manual transmission, or a new 6-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control. More compact and efficient than the 5-speed automatic transmission it replaces, the 6-speed automatic improves the acceleration and fuel efficiency of the V-6 Accord.

The all-new Honda Accord offers an impressive array of breakthrough safety features based on Honda's comprehensive 360-degree approach to technologies designed to enhance a driver's visibility. They include Active Cornering Lights (ACL) to provide enhanced night time visibility when the vehicle is turning; a multi-angle rearview camera; Daytime Running Lights, dual front airbags; i-Side airbags, side curtain airbags; Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) to help stabilize the vehicle during cornering; Motion Adaptive Electric Power Steering (MA- EPS); Hill Start Assist (HSA) helping the driver accelerate smoothly from a stop while on an incline; an Anti-lock Brake System (ABS); Electronic Brake Distribution; Immobilizer, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and water-dispersing front side windows and hydrophilic side door mirrors to enhance driving visibility.

The URBAN SUV CONCEPT is a concept vehicle for a global model. This model features sporty and dynamic design unique to an SUV, while also offering a spacious and modern cabin with high functionality, targeting young people with active lifestyles. The exterior design was developed featuring the sharp and sporty character lines of a coupe while maintaining the dynamism of a crossover model to express an emotional and sensual design.

Featuring Earth Dreams Technology, Honda's next generation powertrain series that greatly enhances both driving performance and fuel efficiency at a high level, the all-new compact SUV will be available with three types of powertrains - gasoline, hybrid and diesel - evolving a product lineup which accommodates the unique characteristics of each region on a global basis.
The all-new compact SUV model based on this concept will go on sale in Japan by the end of 2013, and begin sales in the U.S. before the end of 2014.
