ASIMO heads to Germany for AMI 2012

Germany, June 4, 2012 - ASIMO travelled to Leipzig, Germany this week to attend AMI 2012 (Auto Mobil International), the country's only international motor show. Held in Leipziger Messe, a stunning, exhibition hall designed by British architect Ian Ritchie, the show is expected to attract over 300,000 visitors.

ASIMO will be performing nearly 40 shows and is joined on the Honda stand by the all new Civic, the Jazz Si, a CR-V prototype and the zero-emission, hydrogen fuel cell electric car, the FCX Clarity.

ASIMO has already made an impression at the show, meeting VIPs and senior Honda associates during the press day. These included Dr. Peter Ramsauer, Federal Minister for Transport, Construction and City Development, Manabu Nishimae, President of Honda Motor Europe, Katsushi Inoue, President of Honda Germany, and Hirokazu Tomiki, President of Honda Poland.

AMI 2012 runs until the 10th June and features 78 World, European and German premieres.
