Acura RL Prototype to be Exhibited at New York International Motor Show

TOKYO, April 1, 2004 --- American Honda Motor Co., Inc. announced today that a prototype of the Acura RL, which is scheduled to undergo a full-model change this autumn, will be exhibited at the New York International Motor Show. (Press Days: April 7-8, General Public: April 9-18)

The Acura RL Prototype will be equipped with the world’s first Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system which was developed by Honda. The new Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system provides cornering performance that responds faithfully to driver input and offers outstanding vehicle stability.

Details concerning the Acura RL will be announced at a press conference at the New York International Motor Show. (April 7th, 11:25-11:50).
