In 2020, he moved up to and is competing in the premier Outdoor (TrialGP) and Indoor (X-Trial) championships, and has steadily accumulated achievements each year.
After Takahisa Fujinami’s retirement in 2022, Marcelli joined the Repsol Honda HRC as Toni Bou’s stablemate. In 2023, he finished the season 3rd in both TrialGP and X-Trial championships, and in the recent season, he was 2nd in the TrialGP championship and 3rd in the X-Trial championship.
