Production in Japan for the month of May 2015 experienced a year-on-year decrease for the 10th consecutive month (since August 2014).

Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the third consecutive month (since March 2015), setting record high production for the month of May. This includes record high production for the month of May in North America and Asia.

Production worldwide experienced a year-on-year decrease for the fifth consecutive month (since January 2015).

Total domestic automobile sales in the Japanese market for the month of May 2015 experienced a year-on-year decrease for the eighth consecutive month (since October 2014).

New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year decrease for the eighth consecutive month (since October 2014).

Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year decrease for the seventh consecutive month (since November 2014).

Fit was the industry’s fourth best-selling car among new vehicle registrations for the month of May 2015 with sales of 7,680 units. STEPWGN was the industry’s eighth best-selling car with sales of 5,087 units.VEZEL was the industry’s ninth best-selling car with sales of 4,846 units.

N-BOX was the industry’s top selling car in the mini-vehicle category for the month of May 2015 with sales of 10,397 units. N-WGN was the industry’s ninth best-selling car with sales of 5,120 units.
