SÃO PAULO, Brazil, October 28, 2014 - Honda South America Ltda. announced that it will exhibit the world premiere of the planned mass-production version of the all-new HR-V for Brazil (known as the VEZEL in Japan) and the CR-V that underwent a mid-cycle refresh, at the São Paulo International Motor Show 2014 which will be held in São Paulo, Brazil (press days: October 28-29, public days: October 30 - November 9, 2014). With more models on display, Honda will introduce its enhanced automobile product lineup for our customers in Brazil.

  • All-new HR-V (planned mass-production model with specifications customized for the Brazilian market):

Honda is planning to introduce this all-new HR-V in Brazil in the first quarter of 2015. The HR-V fuses together the dynamism of a SUV, the elegance of a coupe and the ease-of-use of a minivan at a high level. In Brazil, the HR-V will be equipped with a 1.8L SOHC i-VTEC flex fuel engine combined with a CVT, which will realize both driving performance and equivalent to vehicles in the class above and fuel economy. With the HR-V, Honda will offer unprecedented and multifaceted values to our customers in Brazil.

  • CR-V (planned mass-production model which undertook a mid-cycle refresh):

This model will go on sale in Brazil in the first half of 2015, featuring a newly-designed front grille, headlights and bumpers, a new interior with enhanced texture and visual appeal and new equipment.
