Honda would like to express its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of the April 14th earthquake which struck the Qinghai province of China. In response to this tragedy, the Honda group companies in China and Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will provide approximately JPY 43.1 million (approximately CNY 3.2 million) toward the relief and recovery effort.
Details of Honda's donations:
- Honda group companies in China will contribute CNY 2.7 million (approximately JPY 36.1 million) through the related reconstruction aid group.
- Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will contribute JPY 7 million (approximately CNY 0.5 million) through the Japanese Red Cross Society.
