Honda R&D Co., Ltd., Honda’s R&D subsidiary, engages not only in environment and advanced technology research, but also researches unique technologies that will bring new value to people, expanding into 3-dimensional possibilities of mobility, 4-dimensional possibilities unbound by limitations of time and space, and beyond the atmosphere into space.

Honda engages in robotics research according to its corporate philosophy of Technology for the People. As one of Honda’s initiatives to research and develop numerous aspects of robotics and provide value to socierty, Honda Avatar Robot research and development aims to maximize the value of time and expand human capabilities, becoming a person’s true avatar.
