Honda has begun offering free 3D models of popular Honda motorcycles to creators.

Drawing or producing CG motorcycles can be challenging due to their complex forms. Many creators have shared that the difficulty of accurately depicting motorcycles sometimes leads them to avoid including them in their art works. This initiative began launched in response to those voices.

As a company that develops, manufactures, and sells motorcycles, Honda is home to many passionate motorcycle enthusiasts. Employees across generations have been inspired by stories featuring motorcycles from different eras. Many joined Honda after being deeply moved by such works, aspiring to create motorcycles of their own.

By providing official assets from the company that builds motorcycles, Honda hopes more creators will incorporate motorcycles into their projects, leading to even more works in which motorcycles play a role.

The 3D data provided are not simple exterior replicas. In actual vehicle development, after a design proposal is created, full-scale modeling and digital data are refined back and forth in millimeter increments. The form and materials are repeatedly verified while incorporating riding data. The assets are produced based on the 3D data finalized through real-world development, allowing for precise reproduction of each motorcycle’s details.

Currently, three models are available:

Super Cub C125 – A long-selling brand with a friendly presence that blends naturally into any landscape.
CB1000F – A quintessential naked bike, enabling realistic reproduction of metallic brilliance and gloss.
CT125 – A model capable of expressing both casual charm and active character.

Each model includes multiple color variations. Honda is considering expanding the lineup in the future.

The three models are available on CLIP STUDIO ASSETS, and the Super Cub C125 is also available on the Unity Asset Store (https://assetstore.unity.com/).

These data are royalty-free. By complying with the usage terms and conditions specified on each platform, creators may use them for free. Honda encourages their use across a wide range of genres, including illustrations, manga, games, and items within metaverse spaces.
