This first article introduces Motopub, a portal site for service publications, with an overview, usage, and available contents.

This article will best serve the interest of those who:
・have a printed Owner’s Manual stored in their motorcycle, but have not read it much and think it’s a hassle to take it out and put it away;
・have been thinking about reading an Owner’s Manual to find out how to do a certain operation, but ended up forgetting and never read it;
・wish to be able to browse the Owner’s Manual anytime, anywhere.

1. What is Motopub？

Motopub is a portal site for motorcycle service publications that we have been publishing since 2018. It was renewed on April 1, 2022 and became more user-friendly.
At first, we mainly posted Japanese Owner’s Manuals, but Honda around the world has also started to publish Owner’s Manuals on Motopub, and it is used in 20 countries (as of Apr 1, 2022)
*In some countries, service publications are available on the local Honda website; therefore URL links are provided.

Also, the contents are increasing, such as Parts Catalogue, Suspension Tuning Guide, Operation Guide Video, and Comic.
*Some of the contents are not available in some countries.

2. How to Use

1) Select the country from the Motopub World Top page.
2) If you want to change the displayed language, switch to the language you want to use.
3) Select the displacement and model name.

4) Select the model year you want to browse as the selected model is displayed.
5) If there are many years displayed, please select the appropriate model year.

6) Select the service publication you want to browse.
7) Select the language you want to browse.

8) After reading and agreeing to the terms and conditions, please tick the checkbox and browse the publication.

3. Contents Guide

Next, we will show you what kind of service publications are available on Motopub.
Although some of the publications are only published in certain countries, it is still possible to browse them if you select the country in Motopub World Top page, so go ahead and take a look.

3.1 Owner’s Manual

You can browse the operation guide, maintenance schedule and maintenance items, troubleshooting, specifications, and service data

3.2 Parts Catalogue

You can browse part numbers and names.

3.3 Video

You can watch videos on how to set the riding modes, etc., as a supplement to the Owner’s Manual.
Since you can see the instruments and switches operations at the same time, it is even easier to understand than reading the Owner’s Manual.

3.4 Suspension Tuning Guide

You can browse suspension tuning to help you enjoy your motorcycle more.

3.5 Comic

You can browse the “How to Use a Motorcycle” explanatory comic, which explains the key points when riding on a motorcycle.
Based on the experiences of Honda employees, we have created a comic that describes important tips for riding on a motorcycle.
It features stories of mistakes made while touring, and funny and important episodes at our dealer.
