The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering (The Quail) is a car show limited to 200 automobiles located at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club. Judging includes a Best of Show award, which qualifies the winning vehicle to participate in the Peninsula “Best of the Best” competition.

Acura RSX Prototype Revealed
Acura unveiled the boldly styled premium performance SUV, the Acura RSX Prototype, for the first time during Monterey Car Week. The RSX Prototype acts as a preview of the next-generation fully electric Acura, scheduled to debut in the second half of 2026.
The RSX Prototype made its public world debut at the iconic events of Monterey Car Week, The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, attracting significant attention. Dressed in vibrant Propulsion Yellow Pearl, the RSX Prototype left a strong impression on automotive and motorsports enthusiasts with its presence and cutting-edge design.
Last Honda V10 Engine Used by Senna Auctioned
Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) participated in the Bonhams|Cars The Quail Auction held on August 15 during The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering at The Quail Lodge, placing on auction the final V805 unit of the Honda RA100E V10 engine that powered the McLaren MP4/5B driven by Ayrton Senna in the final round of the 1990 FIA Formula One World Championship.
