Honda aims to contribute to accelerating electrification by resolving the challenges of widespread adoption, charging time and cruising range, through a sharing service that allows users to exchange batteries in the cities.
Subscribed users can swap their depleted batteries for freshly charged units at battery exchange stations located throughout the city.

Honda Power Pack Energy India Private Limited(HEID)
Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt. Ltd. (HEID), a fully-owned Honda subsidiary in India established in November 2021, began a battery sharing service business in Bengaluru for electric three-wheeled cabs (rickshaws) and motorcycles.
On April 1, 2022, Honda along with ENEOS, Kawasaki Motors, Suzuki Motor Corporation and Yamaha Motor established Gachaco, Inc. to provide sharing service of standardized swappable batteries for electric motorcycles and develop the associated infrastructure, and began the service in October that year.
