Light and Natural Exterior
A lively form, lovable face, and smooth surface come together to create a design that
fits seamlessly into everyday life.
The front and rear bumpers feature a “Kado-Maru, Shikaku” (rounded-square) motif, adding
a friendly and approachable feel.
The thick hood and horizontal lines convey both strength and lightness, resulting in a
clean design that makes you want to reach out and feel it.

Creating a vibrant interior through a “lightweight space,” “effortless usability,” and
“details that blend into everyday life.”
Bright color schemes and a slim instrument panel create an open, expansive field of
view.
A wide tray and long console ensure storage for daily essentials, while the controls are
placed within natural reach for comfort.
Ideation
A New N-ONE Designed from the Framework
While retaining the essence of the N-ONE, the height of the front nose and the overall silhouette were carefully refined to express a newness unique to a BEV.
The form was refined by repeatedly revisiting the gasoline-based model, aiming for a silhouette that embodies a horizontally grounded structure and evokes a “light and natural” driving feel at the start.
Exploring the Essentials of Optimizing Visibility and Space
A close study of daily usage patterns led to the recognition that driving is an integral part of everyday life.
Key considerations included a refreshing view from the instrument panel, a wide tray for easy storage, and thoughtful consolidation of essential functions.
The direction was defined with a focus on the effortless operation aligned with daily movement and the creation of stress-free spaces.
