In the logistics world, it is said that transportation capacity will drop by 30% within the next 10 years, and solving the labor shortage is an urgent challenge. Combined with its advanced autonomous functions, the friendly appearance of the vehicle is lowering the barrier people feel about working in cooperation with an autonomous machine, creating a sense of familiarity and reassurance. The design of the Honda AWV was highly evaluated as a design that indicates one of the ideal images of how robots will become a part of people’s daily lives and people and robotics products will work together in earnest in the very near future.
