One such event is hot air ballooning, in which pilots embrace the challenge of traversing the open skies—which has been a dream for humankind since long ago.
At Honda, we first began to support air sports—which take place in the open skies—in 1989, then commenced special sponsorships the following year. In 1993, we scaled up our sponsorship activities with the launch of the Hot Air Balloon Honda Grand Prix in Japan.
