Belgrade, Serbia, September 26, 2012 - ASIMO visited Belgrade this week, appearing as the star guest at the City's "Days of Future: Robotics" festival. The festival is the first popular-science festival in the Western Balkans dedicated entirely to robots, and has been organised by the Centre for Promotion of Science, in association with the University of Belgrade's School of Electrical Engineering.

It was also the first time that ASIMO had ever visited Serbia, and thousands of people from across the country took the opportunity to see the world's most advanced humanoid robot in action; all of the 10,000 places available to see ASIMO "sold out" in just four days.

Whilst in Belgrade, ASIMO was even interviewed by famous national TV presenter Zoran Stanojevic on the Serbian television station RTS.

ASIMO's performances were held in the City's Kolarac concert hall on 24th - 26th September, with a total of thirteen staged over the three day period. Each of the shows offered an opportunity for visitors to see Honda's latest advances in the field of humanoid robotics. These included ASIMO's ability to run, kick a ball, give and receive objects and respond to voice commands, all displaying ASIMO's superior agility and movement.

The festival runs until October 15 and includes a number of public lectures, film screenings and workshops.
