Production in Japan for the month of August 2015 experienced a year-on-year decrease for the 13th consecutive month (since August 2014).
Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the sixth consecutive month (since March 2015), setting record high production for the month of August. This includes record high production for the month of August in North America, Asia and China.
Production worldwide experienced a year-on-year increase for the third consecutive month (since June 2015), setting record high production for the month of August.

Total domestic automobile sales in the Japanese market for the month of August 2015 experienced a year-on-year decrease for the 11th consecutive month (since October 2014).
New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year decrease for the 11th consecutive month (since October 2014).
Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year decrease for the 10th consecutive month (since November 2014).

Fit was the industry’s fourth best-selling car among new vehicle registrations for the month of Aug 2015 with sales of 6,765 units. VEZEL was the industry’s ninth best-selling car with sales of 5,092 units.
<Mini vehicles - under 660cc>
N-BOX was the industry's Top-selling car in the mini-vehicle category for the month of August 2015 with sales of 10,394 units. N-WGN was the industry's seventh best-selling car with sales of 5,566 units.
