Honda announced that Gouta Otsuka (T.E.SPORT) will be replacing Toshiki Tomita (Team Honda HRC) to represent Japan in the MX2 class in the inter-nation Motocross event, the Motocross of Nations (MXoN), to be held in Assen, the Netherlands on Sunday, September 29. Tomita will not be able to compete due to injuries.

Otsuka, currently ranked 6th in the IA1 class in the All Japan Motocross Championship, finished 3rd in Heat 2 of Round 4, Sugo this season, and will be representing Japan for the first time.

MXoN is held annually, with over 30 three-rider teams representing their countries. As previously announced, Japan will be represented by Akira Narita (Team HRC) in the MXGP class, and Chihiro Notsuka (Honda 114 Motorsports) in the MX Open class, with Naoki Serizawa as team manager.
