Takumi Takahashi | Red Bull Honda (#33) (3rd grid)
"Our riders were all picking up the pace and we were in a good position, so it's disappointing that today's Top 10 Trial was canceled. Tomorrow's a long race, but I aim to give it everything, and not make any mistakes."
Ryuichi Kiyonari | Red Bull Honda (#33) (3rd grid)
"It's disappointing that today's Top 10 Trial Was canceled due to rain. I'm sorry that my lap time was slower than my teammates, taking us down a few places. Our pace isn't bad, so we'll work together for the race."
Stefan Bradl | Red Bull Honda (#33) (3rd grid)
"It's my first time participating in the Suzuka 8 Hours. It will be a good experience for me tomorrow. A lot of people are supporting us today. It's always great to be here in Japan. Probably it's going to be a tough race physically and mentally. It's a new experience for me. I try to follow my teammates as much as I can and learn from them. We're ready to fight."
Josh Hook | F.C.C. TSR Honda France (#1) (7th grid)
"I'm disappointed that the Top 10 Trial was canceled, because it was a really good opportunity for us. There were some aspects that didn't go well yesterday, but I was certain would go well today. But, you can't beat nature. I don't think the grid position will have that much of an effect, because we have the race pace. We'll do our best. There are a lot of competitive teams, but we have the knowhow in endurance racing. We have the advantage. As long as we maintain our pace, results will naturally follow."
Freddy Foray | F.C.C. TSR Honda France (#1) (7th grid)
"Considering the EWC championship, missing out on points awarded to the top 5 in the Top 10 Trial is disappointing. But, tomorrow we race, so we'll do our best. My focus is on racing safely. Even with strong factory teams, not all riders are quick on average. In our case, we have three really fast riders, so we won't worry too much about the other teams, and concentrate on our own pace. We'll show everyone what we're made of tomorrow."
Mike Di Meglio | F.C.C. TSR Honda France (#1) (7th grid)
"Today's weather is disappointing. We had a chance to gain points in the Top 10 Trial, and it was an important session, but we'll just have to concentrate on tomorrow's race. I'll do everything I can to make everyone's dream come true, which is to win the championship. Keeping pace while pushing hard. I think I can do that. There aren't many teams, even strong teams, where all three riders are fast. We are all fast, so that's our advantage."
Masakazu Fujii | F.C.C. TSR Honda France (#1) Team Manager (7th grid)
"We can't do much about the qualifying results and the Top 10 Trial. We have our strategy, but I realized once again that the team is family. When I email the three riders, I get responses immediately. They don't argue, and agree with what I suggest. It made me feel that we're all working as one unit. We're going to be fast tomorrow, and I believe it will be the fastest Suzuka 8 Hours on record. I think it will be a battle fought over an unprecedented 220 laps. We will, of course, be in that battle."
