Oracle Red Bull Racing “RB21” Special livery for the F1 Japanese Grand Prix! The design pays tribute to the RA272, the racing car that gave Honda its first F1 victory. Yuki Tsunoda will be driving this very special RB21 in this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix. Show cars in the special livery will also be exhibited during the F1 TOKYO FAN FESTIVAL at Odaiba, Tokyo on April 2 and April 4 - 6. Honda R&D signed an agreement with Kanagawa Prefecture and Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, for a “Demonstration Test of Automated Driving Technology to Solve Transportation Issues” utilizing AI and automated driving. In recent years, public transportation services have been reduced or discontinued due to a shortage of drivers and a decrease in the number of users, caused by the declining birthrate and aging population. Another issue is to secure means of transportation for elderly people after they surrender their drivers’ licenses. To solve these issues, Honda will conduct a demonstration test in Odawara City of automated driving technology using Honda CI (Cooperative Intelligence), #Honda’s unique cooperative artificial intelligence. 本田技術研究所は、神奈川県、神奈川県小田原市とAIや自動運転などを活用した「交通課題解決に向けた自動運転技術の実証実験に関する協定」を締結しました。 近年、少子高齢化によるドライバー不足や利用者の減少の影響で公共交通機関の減便や路線廃止が起こり始めています。また、高齢者の運転免許返納後の移動手段の確保も課題です。 このような交通課題の解決に向けて、Honda独自の協調人工知能「Honda CI （Cooperative Intelligence）」を用いた自動運転技術の実証実験を小田原市で行っていきます。 詳しくはこちら http://spr.ly/6049FucGL

How the #Honda Koraidon was Made The Honda Koraidon, almost life-size in weight and size, incorporating Honda’s proprietary advanced technologies, and paying close attention to every detail, was made by a group of Honda volunteers gathered under the common aim; “Honda’s Devotion Make Children’s Dreams Come True.” They developed everything from scratch, from modeling to the parts! On exhibition day, many people came to see it! 🙌 Thank you to everyone who visited despite the bitter cold! The team is now working on further developing the Honda Koraidon!
