Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has received the "Shiksha Vibhushan Award" for education enhancement activities conducted at the public schools in Tapukara, Rajasthan.

This was the second year to receive this award which was handed by Rajasthan Education Minister.

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) received three platinum awards from the 6th "Driven to Serve" Awards hosted by the Society of Philippine Motoring Journalists (SPMJ) for specific projects conducted as a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The projects that HCPI won the Platinum Award this time were "Teen Smart with Honda SENSING Demonstration for Students", "Recycling of Used Lead Acid Batteries and Industrial Oil" and "Innovation Contest for Senior High School Students in the Philippines" that were respectively related to road safety, environment protection and education.

The Honda Khiang Khang Thai Fund (HKKT), under the Honda Thailand Foundation, is pleased to announce the most recent success of collaboration with the Utokapat Foundation Under Royal Patronage on the Water Resource Development Project in the Nan Basin under Royal Initiative.

The project in its seventh year has increased water storage capacity by 144,825 cubic meters, benefiting 7,643 rai (about 12.2 million square meters) of agricultural land. As a result, 2,198 households (5,914 people) in the five Nan River Basin areas (Nan and Phitsanulok provinces) now have access to water for domestic use and consumption, as well as a reserve for agriculture throughout the year. These communities have become a model case for systematic and sustainable water management.

Honda Taiwan Motor Co., Ltd. (HTW) organized events to remove invasive plant species from Yangmingshan National Park in order to preserve native flora and Taiwan's natural environment. With the joint efforts of managers and associates, a total of 242 kilograms of invasive plant species were removed during the event period.

In Vietnam, traffic volume has increased with economic growth. In particular, motorcycles are used by citizens for commuting to work, school, and business, thus countless are on the road especially during peak hours in the morning and evening. Also with the number of automobiles owned started to increase in recent years, traffic safety has become one of the major social issues. Honda Vietnam Company Limited (HVN), in cooperation with the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, donated 1.8 million qualified helmets to first-grade students nationwide in FY2024, aiming to raise awareness of wearing qualified helmet among children. In addition, a series of events were held at Honda Executive Authority Dealers to improve the knowledge of traffic safety for children and their parents. This activity has been ongoing since 2015, with a cumulative total of approximately 8.4 million helmets donated to date. The program aims to form habits of wearing qualified helmets in Vietnamese motorcycle riders, with the goal of achieving a ratio of 100% wearing qualified helmets.

Honda Foundation, Inc. (HFI) and the Municipality of Pasig (Pasig City) collaborated for the first ever Road Safety Summit in Pasig Rainforest Park.

The Road Safety Summit (RSS) aims to develop road safety mindset and riding and driving proficiency among road users for the protection and welfare of the society through partnership with the local government unit.

Likewise, the RSS provided the people in the community an opportunity to acquire the practical know-how about road safety in an easy-to-understand, enjoyable manner.

In Thailand, Honda executives, associates and dealer representatives, along with some of their family members, participated in a charity marathon held in the province of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.

Over 2,000 runners gathered to enjoy their run along a route that featured some of the scenic historical sites located within this province.

This charity event was aimed at raising THB 1,000,000 to be used as the fund to support the hospitals in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Prachinburi provinces.

Honda India Foundation (HIF) the CSR arm of all Honda group of company in India, launched a program aimed at improving the health of women and adolescent girls living in specific villages in Greater Noida and Tapukara that have been identified as socially vulnerable communities.

The program focuses on empowering women and adolescent girls who find themselves in the low socio-economic strata of the society and strengthening the existing health infrastructure.

This program is also designed to support and guide them in ways that would eventually enable them to develop into Change Agents who in turn could actively contribute to the community mobilization process known also as the “Swabhiman (Self-respect)” movement.
