Kangaroo Care Chairs Donation
SDG 3 : Good health and well-being

The Honda Foundation, Honda Australia donates Kangaroo Care Chairs for Neonatal Intensive Care Units and Special Care Nurseries for babies.

These chairs are instrumental in facilitating bonding between babies receiving care in a humidicrib and their parents. They provide an intimate and positive bonding experience between parents and babies.

Donation to Earthquake Victims
SDG 1 : No poverty, 2 : Zero hunger, 3 : Good health and well-being

Honda Indonesia donated basic needs, equipment and mechanical equipment to the victims of an earthquake in Central Sulawesi.

The donation was focused on Petobo Evacuation Camp, working in collaboration with Central Sulawesi Volunteers from Bumi Cendikia Ilmu Foundation.

School Infrastructure Development
SDG 4 : Quality education

Honda Cars India helped to improve the infrastructure of the government girl's school in Tapukara.

The company also provided basic facilities such as classrooms, offices, furniture, playgrounds, etc.

Honda New Zealand Support for Sporting Events
SDG 3 : Good health and well-being

The Tour of New Zealand is a seven day cycle race held biannually in New Zealand where riders raise funds of charity. The route of the tour differs each time. The tour is limited to 250 riders from top riders through to amateur everyday riders. The slogan for riders is “Ride for the adventure—Race for the Podium.”

More than $45,000 was raised for the Child Cancer Foundation. $250,000 was raised in total.

Tree Planting in Korea
SDG 15 : Life on land

April 13, 2019, Honda Korea together with the environment organization "Forest for Life" and Regional Forest Service conducted Tree Planting activities called “Forest Dreaming Together” on a mountain in the Samcheok area that suffered from forest fires in Gangwon Province.
Over 350 participants from Honda Korea, dealers, customers and "Forest for Life" members and staff joined the tree planting and planted a total of 3,000 trees.

Solar Power Systems Installation
SDG 7 : Affordable and Clean Energy, 13 : Climate Action

In January 2020, Atlas Honda completed the second installation project for solar power systems at its Sheikhupura plant.

This clean and renewable energy helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Pakistan. As of March 2020, Installed solar panels have a capacity of 1,565 KW for both plants.

Helmet Donation Project
SDG 11 : Sustainable cities and communities, 4 : Quality education

Honda Vietnam cooperated with government authorities to donate nearly 2 million helmets to first grade pupils nationwide.

The project enhances the ratio of children wearing helmets and contributes to minimizing traffic accidents in Vietnam.

One Honda Road Safety Activities
SDG 11 : Sustainable cities and communities

Honda Cars Philippines and Honda Philippines provides safety education to many of its stakeholders throughout the country in collaboration with different sectors of society.

The program was delivered to customers, suppliers, Honda associates, dealers, and local communities and aims to reduce road accidents in the Philippines.

“Dream Riding Program” motorcycle lessons for women
SDG 11 : Sustainable cities and communities, 4 : Quality education, 5 : Gender Equality

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) is proud to be the world’s largest seller of two-wheeled vehicles with an annual turnover of over 5 million units. Since 2009, HMSI has held a motorcycle training program open to women over 18 years old, with 35,817 participants in fiscal 2020 the largest attendance to date. Since beginning in 2009, a combined total of 175,685 attendees have registered for the course, a positive step towards creating a road-safe society.
