The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an event where the past,
present and future of automobiles,
motorcycles and motorsports intersect.
The annual event,
established by British nobleman Lord Charles March in 1993,
attracts historic racing machines and their drivers and riders from all over the world.
Witnessing countless machines,
that once raced at the pinnacle of world-class motorsports,
being lovingly restored and brought back to life,
charging at full-speed up the hill-climb (in many cases at the hands of their original pilots), is just a part of the culturally-significant and unique event.
For all motorsports fans,
the Goodwood Festival of Speed is an event in a class of its own.
