Honda's F1 challenge began at the Nürburgring in
Round 6 of the season during the height of summer in 1964.
Honda was a complete stranger to the sport on
its foray into the World Championship.

By the second year,
Honda seized its first victory through quick thinking,
and by the fourth year,
welcomed a world champion to the team,
establishing a solid foundation for the future.

The journey, however,
was far from smooth, overcoming setback after setback.

After securing two Grand Prix victories,
Honda’s first F1 campaign came to a close in 1968.
