1983
CBR400F
The very first model to adopt the CBR moniker.
The air-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-cylinder engine features REV (Revolution Modulated Valve Control), an engine speed-responsive valve deactivation mechanism that changes the number of valves operating at high rpm to 4 valves and at low and medium rpm to 2 valves.
For its wheels, both front and rear NS Comstar wheels, the same design as the NS500 factory racing bike, are standard.
